I need Spring so I can go outside

Winter had her last party of the year.
And apparently Princeton was invited.
It better have been the last party of the year anyway.  I can't take any more of this.
And I don't even know what the rabbits and deer must be going through.

Fortunately, winter had a bad hangover this morning and stayed home sick.  Spring came out and cleaned everything up (i.e. melted all the snow).  So Keith convinced me to skip the elliptical and lace up for a running date.  I earn my endorphins and Keith earns his keep.  It's a good marital activity.  Keeps us out of counseling!

Okay... I have a confession...

I have become obsessed with Gossip Girls.
In my defense, it must be known that the show is more addictive than crack.  It's true.  Science has shown this.

Anyway, so I basically have to have Gossip Girl on all the time so that I can work through all 6 seasons so that I can find out whether or not my hunch is right about who Gossip Girl is.  In other words, I ruined my life by starting to watch this show.  What is wrong with me?  For the love of everything sacred, do not mention anything that happens in or after season 3.  I will be done with my bizarre solo viewing party in about a week, and a discussion can commence then.

In the mean time, tell me who is your favorite character on Gossip Girl?  Or... who is your favorite character on TV?  I think President Jed Bartlett from West Wing is my all time favorite.  He is just so awesome.  I would vote for that guy in a real election.

I also do work while I watch (because it demands only about .00001% of anybody's brain power), so my writing is coming along and I've been cranking out art homework like an overachieving, type-A college student a regular Princeton undergrad.  Here's the freshest one:
It's a self-portrait.  I was feeling inspired by Rembrandt's selfies.  And since he is so much more talented than I am, I'll leave you with one of his.

  1. I had the most amazing run this afternoon in shorts. Some guy said to me "It's a great day for running" and I did some awkward shout back at how awesome and amazing it was.
I obsessed with the first 2-3 seasons of Gossip Girl before I gave up on it. But when I started watching it, I was like you. My favorite characters changed but I liked Blair in that evil, mean girl kind of way. I also liked Jenny in that underdog kind of way.

  2. Don't feel bad, if I had access to GG I would watch it too. It looked good when it first came on TV, I just never started watching! Thank god the snow is GONE!

  3. Today was running perfection! I wore a tank top...and have a tan line. Granted I ran for 2 hours. But tank tan...beginning of March. My heart is warm and fuzzy with spring to come :)

  4. I got a jump start on my runner's tan yesterday as well! I was actually pretty hot, as it got into the 60s, about 30 degrees more than what my body is used to! I love it though, and I am so excited for spring running!

As for Gossip Girl, I am sad to say I have seen every episode. Here is my man card, I don't deserve it.

  5. I love that you are just getting into gossip girl now, I totally binged out and watched all the seasons a few summers ago and then caught up again this year to watch the final season. It is sooooo addictive. I have a severe love / hate relationship with Serena because I just feel like she has the potential to not be an idiot but she just loves it too much. That snow looks horrible and I'm praying for summer for all ASAP.

  6. Do not feel bad about GG. I watched the entire thing in 2 weeks in January. Let me know if you need help finding the last season... I know where it is. :)
